RCO Technology
RCO refers to the Regenerative Catalytic Oxidation(RCO). The core components of RCO are thermal storage ceramics and catalyst, which are respectively installed in the lower layer (thermal storage layer) and the upper layer (catalytic layer) of the thermal storage bed. In the thermal storage layer, the composite honeycomb or honeycomb ceramic regenerator for metallurgical machinery is generally used as the main thermal storage material, and the torque saddle ring is used as the supporting protection material. Widely used in petroleum and chemical and natural gas processingindustry, rubber production industry, medicine and food processing industry, spray painting and printing industry of various types of organic waste gas purification treatment.

RCO technology: The heat storage catalytic bed is divided into four areas: intake area, exhaust area, purge area, blind area. The organic waste gas to be treated enters from the air intake area and passes through the thermal storage ceramic layer. The gas is heated by the thermal storage ceramic, the temperature increases, the thermal storage ceramic be cooled, and then passes through the catalytic layer, and the gas is purified by catalytic combustion. The purified gas enters the exhaust zone, and heat of the gas is absorbed by the thermal storage ceramic, which warms up, and the gas is cooled, which is discharged into the chimney. The blower purges the purging area to prevent the unpurified gas from being discharged when the intake area is transferred to the exhaust area. The blind zone is not ventilated, that is, from the exhaust area into the intake area to prevent gasmixing. Through the switch of the heat storage catalytic bed, the cycle steps of heating, cooling and purification are carried out at the heat storage ceramic and catalyst filled bed in each zone. Complete the gas purification function, and heat storage recovery and utilization of heat, to achieve the dual purposes of energy saving (saving the fuel consumption of waste gas preheating and heating) and environmental protection (VOCs purification).
